This year, Metro Cruise will host 11 bands on two stages throughout the Friday and Saturday event. All bands will be at our Main Event sites - Woodland Mall in Kentwood and Rogers Plaza in Wyoming. One thing that you’ll love about the Cruise – in addition to all of the awesome classic cars – is the multitude of businesses along 28th Street. There are dozens of hotels and restaurants throughout the area – lots of them right on 28th Street! Many of them have great specials for Metro Cruise visitors – be sure to ask. 2-hour collector car parking areas – all MAIN EVENT and PIT STOP sites offer these areas.

The 16th Annual 28th Street Metro Cruise is taking place this weekend
The West Michigan Mustang Club will be set up at the Oakestown-Borgman Pit Stop location with food, entertainment and more. Bring your own chairs, umbrellas, and blankets, to sit along 28th Street to watch the passing classic and muscle cars. Eventgoers can also stop by the General Motors plant on Saturday, at 2100 Burlingame Ave., to commemorate the plant on its 75th anniversary. Food trucks, GM vehicles, plant tours, and scholarships will be presented to the public. The Metro Cruise event has been attracting attendees from all over Michigan since 2005 and has since been a spot for car folk to talk and debate over their respected rides. The event has drawn thousands in the past.
The Metro Cruise will host five official sites with dozens of activities for kids and adults throughout the weekend. Activities include a climbing wall, a cornhole tournament, arts and crafts, paintball, and so much more. Take the kids to the MAIN EVENT at Woodland Mall for numerous kids activities.
By far, the busiest spots of Metro Cruise® are the Main Event sites located at the Rogers Plaza mall parking lot in the city of Wyoming, and Woodland Mall in Kentwood. This Main Event site also features a free shuttle service courtesy of the Rapid. Live music and food vendors will also be available. This long-standing event continues with it’s laid back feel and community involvement.
The main hub for the event and the historic epicenter of the cruise is at Roger's Plaza in Wyoming and for the second year, the Woodland Mall parking lot will also serve as a hub for cruisers. We have great news for you – ALL official Metro Cruise sites are free admission and free parking. Most sites offer freebies, giveaways, and competitions as well.

Over 250,000 attendees have enjoyed the event in recent years with an estimated 15,000 cars participating.
